Mariport is a fully furnished, professionally decorated guest residence consisting of a 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath main house and a 2 bedroom, 2 bath guesthouse separated by a heated pool. It is available for weekend or longer stays.

This unique getaway destination can best be described as a Personal Luxury Resort. Both houses have kitchens, multiple indoor lounging areas, entertainment centers and display African artwork and trophy mounted wildlife, complementing the Mexican and American décor. Step outside where there are various decks with plenty of chairs, chez lounges and umbrella tables, a pool, the beach, and those incredible views.

Mariport is ideal for large or multi-family vacations. The first level of the main house is a two bedroom suite with bath and living room. A spiral staircase leads up to a main floor bathed in natural light, facing the river and the Minnesota bluffs to the south. The open, high-ceiling kitchen features an island with built-in appliances, fireplace, flat screen TV, stereo and computer workstation.

A large, formal dining table is flanked by windows that face the deck/lake overlook. A bar with wine rack and tall stools serves between another, smaller table, buffet and sitting room. Sliding glass doors open to another deck on the shaded side of the home. The spiral stairway continues up to a plush carpeted landing hosting a leather recliner and reading lamp in front of a cozy bedroom. The landing area leads to the master suite, five stories above the lake, with sunroom/spa, bath with glass walled, two-person shower, bedroom with four-poster bed and fireplace.

The guest house is two story, with a bedroom, bath, living area, kitchen and eating area on the main floor. The second floor has the master bedroom and bath with private deck, a lounge area and full deck across the front.

The pool is chemically balanced and heated to a comfortable temperature. It has a deep end with diving board and a roped-off shallow end. The guesthouse side has a private dressing/bath and shower, accessible for guests of both residences. A pool-side wet-bar with refrigerator and gas grill allows for food and fun.
